On Saturday 11th February 1928, Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company Limited (BMMO—Midland “Red” Motor Services) again renumbered their stage carriage services into groups depending on their geographical location, stating with Service 100. Route numbers 1–99 were not used to avoid confusion with Birmingham Corporation routes.
- Service 301 running between Worcester, Broadwas, Bromyard, and Hereford, is renumbered to Service 420.

Update to the Timetable Books dated Saturday 2nd October 1954, effective from Saturday 12th March 1955.
- An additional Service 420 return journey on Saturdays between Worcester and Bromyard. Departing Worcester at 06:00 and returning from Bromyard at 06:50.
- Service 420 short-working Market Day (Thursday) journey at 11:15 between Bromyard and Stoke Lacy, and the return journey at 11:30, is withdrawn.
