Introduction

Service 500

Service 500 running between Banbury, Middleton Cheney, and Brackey, was first introduced as Service 72 when Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company Limited (BMMO—Midland “Red” Motor Services) opened their new Banbury depot on Monday 13th October 1919. The route was renumbered to Service 367 in 1925, then again to Service 500 in 1928, and continues to run to this day using this route number.
