Dorset Coast Statesman.
This morning, Wednesday 31 August 2022, saw the Dorset Coast Statesman in Worcester Shrub Hill hauled by Locomotive Services Class 47 47828 and 47614 (47853) working from Wolverhampton to Weymouth via Kidderminster, Worcester, Cheltenham, Swindon, Reading West, Southampton and Bournemouth. With over 5,000 HP on tap the smokey departure was rapid and the next leg to Cheltenham was covered in just over 20 minutes according to Realtimes Trains live website!
