Service cuts anticipated April 2022?

Is local patronage and revenue down in the Worcester area and can we expect Firstbus to make severe service cuts in April 2022?

To be clear this a national problem with all bus operators large and small. Since 2020 all bus operators have received government support. The key issue is government are very slow at confirming the new levels each time a round of funding is coming to an end the next being April. Bus operators are starting to make plans and without some government funding we will without doubt see major bus cuts.

The government has now announced a further round of financial support.

It just means the cliff face has moved back 6 months... we're still going to fall off it at some point!
