Former Worcester Buses seen in Hanley & Newcastle-under-Lyme (Stoke)
First Potteries former buses from Worcester seen in and around Hanley Bus Station and Newcastle Bus Station today 27/4/21 with what`s left of the Enviros 300 from Worcester at Adderley Green Depot of which is only small handful.

I well remember 67699 - had an indicated 72mph out of that one!

It wasn't limited when it arrived and had a 5-speed gearbox so was very fast. We took it to a bus rally and it left everything behind on the motorway.
In later years it was de-tuned somewhat to help pass emissions testing. That was a disappointment to everyone who drove it.

I well remember taking it on the S45 Bromsgrove to Barnt Green schools - came back via the M42 and M5 and enjoyed overtaking lorries on the motorway. The look on the face of a car driver as I passed him at 65 was a picture. I think that I did Barnt Green to Padmore Street in just under 30 minutes!
