Coventry Transport Museum Jan. 2016
I have posted some of these pictures before, but not all. The Museum is well laid out and the exhibits are well lit for photography and it was warm inside on a cold wet January day five years ago. A petrol-head's paradise!

Those are great Tim, I haven't been for a few years now. I suspect it'll be a while before I get there again!
Nice to see the rally car peeking in on the second picture behind that beautiful - Sunbeam-Talbot 90; reminds me of the days of my rally heroes like Tony Pond, Jimmy McRae and of course our own Russell Brookes.

Yes, I can't remember why there isn't a photo of the Talbot rally car; perhaps there wasn't sufficient space to stand back for the shot. However, the Sunbeam Talbot 90 Mk II and Mk III had a number of successes in the Monte Carlo Rally in the early 1950s, including winning outright one year.

I'm glad you got a photo of the Dennis Ace fire engine. That's my favourite vehicle there - beautiful! Even better than the buses!
