I imagine to preserve the punctuality of the S23 service that another bus was dispatched to cover it whilst 35158 ran the S3 school service late.
I ran the college service in 33404 on Wednesday afternoon and not even half the seats were full so I would assume a single-deck vehicle would have coped quite easily in covering it.
Both of the B7TL's at Worcester are starting to feel tired now but are otherwise nice drives. Hopefully the failure of 32066 isn't anything too serious or else some StreetDecks may stray away from Malvern into next week.

Thanks very much for that Red Midland !
- In recent times, I have seen on the tracking service, that two single-deckers have been used on the S23 in the mornings (until now), including the one that is marked "OWR" on the timetable, but it sounds like that one will get dropped soon !

SEVEN DDs allocated to RUGBY services this afternoon, if the tracking service is to be believed (32067, 33401-4, 35156,57) !!
That's the most I've known-of.
Needless to say, I want the Warriors to do well !

(Thrilling) UPDATE

Make that EIGHT !
33405 has also just appeared at Sixways on the main "live" tracking map -- this DD has a glitch with it's ticket machine or associated kit, so that the tracking system often cannot see it, and it appears on the map as a white "vehicle", OR a "Barbie" liveried vehicle, and on one occasion at least, - in two different places at once !!

Ah, so that’s why I couldn’t catch a streetdeck to Malvern today

I was interested to see a "Green Bus" DD heading towards Worcester from Malvern around 2PM today -- -- I MAY have seen this before, if so, does anyone know if they've got a contract in the area ? ( - one that First or successor could get ?), -- perhaps with one of the many schools or colleges in the Malverns ?
The bus was V97MOA and was still in NXWM livery, and was "kind of symbolic" of the changes that MIGHT happen, soonish.
