Service D3
Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company Limited (BMMO—Midland “Red” Motor Services) launched a new network of local Dudley services on Monday 1st October 1934. All routes had new “D”-prefix route numbers in the range D1–D8, plus D40 that replaced the Dudley to Gornal Wood section of the established Service 140 (including short-working Service 141).
- Service D1: Dudley Town Centre – Priory Estate (Forest Road).
- Service D2: Dudley Town Centre – Priory Estate (Gorse Road).
- Service D3: Dudley Town Centre – Watson's Green Estate.
- Service D4: Dudley Town Centre – Grazebrook – Netherton.
- Service D5: Dudley Town Centre – Dixon's Green – Darby End.
- Service D6: Dudley Town Centre – Gornal Wood (via Himley Road).
- Service D7: Dudley Town Centre – Dixon's Green – Oakham – Grace Mary Estate.
- Service D8: Dudley Town Centre – Park Estate (Park Hotel).
- Service D40: Dudley Town Centre – Gornal Wood (via Bagley's Lane).
Services introduced or renumbered at the network launch are listed above. Additional routes were later added, while some of the routes shown above were not successful and withdrawn.
