The Bewdley Bus Gala is one of many events which are part of the celebration of the Severn Valley Railway’s 50th anniversary. The Bus Gala event at Bewdley Station is also on its 5th year of running.
There will be a line up of approximately thirty buses from many different eras. FirstGroup are helping with the celebrations by sponsoring the event and bringing three vehicles as special guests. We have a selection of stalls selling bus memorabilia and gifts that may take your interest or maybe you might want to have a bite to eat and watch the buses and trains go by at our hot pork roll stand.
Free bus excursions will run around the Wyre Forest area using a wide range of vintage vehicles. They depart from Bewdley Railway Station’s Bus Station for the day (Lower Car Park) at 11.00am until approximately 4.30pm. A timetable will be released shortly and will operate subject to bus availability.
Admission is only £2.00 per person or free with a train ticket. Car parking is free for this event and is located a short distance from the station at Bewdley High School.
