On Saturday 16^th May 1925, Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company Limited (BMMO—Midland “Red” Motor Services) renumbered their stage carriage services into groups depending on their geographical location, stating with Service 101 and no longer using suffix letters. Route numbers 1–100 were not used to avoid confusion with Birmingham Corporation routes.

  • Service 270 Great Malvern (Belle Vue Terrace) and West Malvern
  • Service 271 Great Malvern (Belle Vue Terrace) and Wyche Cutting
  • Service 272 Great Malvern (Belle Vue Terrace) and Poolbrook
  • Service 274 Malvern Link and British Camp
  • Service 275 Great Malvern (Post Office) and Golf Links (Peachfield Road)
  • Service 276 Great Malvern (Belle Vue Terrace), Belmont and Malvern Link

On Sunday 18^th April 2004, First Midland Red Buses Limited introduced a large number of changes to their bus services in Worcestershire. These are a result of both efficiencies introduced by the company and by changes to Worcestershire County Council subsidy strategy.

• Worcestershire County Council contract to operate Worcester Local Service 48 is cancelled and the service is withdrawn without replacement.
