County Council contracts changesShow All

First Midland Red Buses Limited won several new contracts from Worcestershire County Council. Most of these were previously operated by Probus Management Limited (trading as Pete’s Travel), who withdrew from all of their contract work in Worcestershire at this time. Other contracts were won or lost from Herefordshire County Council.

• Herefordshire County Council contract to operate Service 453 and Service 454 is won by First Midland Red Buses Limited.

31^st August 2014

Network changesShow All

• First Midland Red Buses Limited successfully win a 7-year contract from Herefordshire County Council to operate rural services in the Hereford area. New Service 426, Service 437, Service 446, Service 453, Service 454 and Service 477 are all introduced as part of this new contract.

6^th September 2015

Hereford depot closedShow All

At the end of operation on Saturday 5^th September 2015, Hereford depot was closed with all services operated from that site being withdrawn. From the follow day, a number of services operated from Worcester depot were also changed.

• Service 453 and Service 454 are withdrawn, and replaced by Yeomans running to the same timetable.
