Service 364: Timetable Changes

On Saturday 11th February 1928, Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company Limited (BMMO—Midland “Red” Motor Services) again renumbered their stage carriage services into groups depending on their geographical location, stating with Service 100. Route numbers 1–99 were not used to avoid confusion with Birmingham Corporation routes.
- Service 268 running between Great Malvern, Upton-upon-Severn, Longdon and Tewkesbury, is renumbered to Service 364.

Malvern Service CutsShow All
- Service 364 (Great Malvern, Upton-upon-Severn, and Tewkesbury) is cut back to run only between Great Malvern and Upton-upon-Severn, and all Sunday journeys are withdrawn.
2nd October 1976
Malvern depot closedShow All
Midland Red Omnibus Company Limited (MROC) closed Malvern depot at the end of operations on Friday 1st October 1976. All local “Mâ€-prefix services are withdrawn, and a number of long-distance services in the area are either withdrawn or cut-back. From Saturday 2nd October 1976, a new network of services in the Malvern area is introduced, operated by Worcester depot.

- New Wednesday-only Service 364 is introduced running between Great Malvern, Gaurlford and Upton-On-Severn. This service is operated as part of a contract issued by Hereford & Worcester County Council.

Mid and South Worcestershire Network changesShow All
- Worcestershire County Council contract to operate Service 363 and Service 364 is passed to Astons Coaches. First Midland Red still operate certain Service 363 journeys on Monday to Friday only, but Service 364 is withdrawn.
4th September 2005
On Sunday 4th September 2005, First Midland Red Buses Limited introduced a number of significant changes across all of their operating area. Many of these are the result of changes to contracts issued by Worcestershire County Council and include the launch of “Worcester Express†network to expand and replace the Worcester North Park+Ride Services, and the withdrawal of Malvern area “FlexiLINK†and “EasyLINK†services.
31st August 2014
- Malvern to Upton-Upon-Severn Service 41, Service 42, Service 42F, Service 42G, Service 43 and Service 43G are withdrawn with the end of Country Council subsidises. These are partly replaced by extending Service 362, Service 364, and Service 365 to Great malvern.
