Service 32: Timetable Changes

Timetable changes from Saturday 6th January 1990.
- New Worcester Citibus Service 32 timetable with slight adjustments to times during the main part of the day on Mondays to Saturdays.
18th April 2004
On Sunday 18th April 2004, First Midland Red Buses Limited introduced a large number of changes to their bus services in Worcestershire. These are a result of both efficiencies introduced by the company and by changes to Worcestershire County Council subsidy strategy.
- Worcester Local Service 21 between Worcester City Centre, Ombersley Road and Bevere (Green Lane) is withdrawn. Daytime journeys are replaced by Worcester Local Service 32 which is extended to Ombersley Road and Bevere (Green Lane) as a cross-city service. Worcestershire County Council contract to operate evening journeys on Worcester Local Service 21 is cancelled and these journeys are withdrawn without replacement.
- Worcestershire County Council contract to operate early morning and Sunday journeys on Worcester Local Service 32 is cancelled and these journeys are withdrawn without replacement.

Worcester “Overground” Network LaunchedShow All
On Monday 5th July 2004, First Midland Red Buses Limited re-brand their local service in Worcester City as the new Worcester “Overground” network.
- Worcester Local Service 32 between St Peter's, Worcester City Centre and Bevere is re-branding as “Blue Line†as part of the new Worcester “Overground” network.
6th September 2004
Changes made to a number of services in the Worcester area, starting from Monday 6th September 2004.
- New Service 32A is introduced operating along the same route as Service 32 between Ombersley Road and Broomhall Green, then continuing to Norton.
- Service 372, Service 373 and Service 374 are withdrawn at the end of services on Saturday 4th September 2004. The Worcester to Baynhall section of these routes are replaced by extending Service 32 past St. Peter’s to serve Kempsey and Baynhall.
- New timetable to combine Service 32 and new Service 32A, each running every 30-minutes inter-worked to give a 15-minute frequency on certain parts of the route.
12th June 2005
- Service 32 is rerouted to run via Grange Avenune.
- Service 32A is withdrawn due to low patronage and partly replaced by Service 32.
- New Service 32 timetable, running every 20 minutes in each direction during the daytime, Monday to Saturday.
1st September 2009
Worcester area network changesShow All
- Service 32 frequency increased to run every 15-minutes on the Worcester to St Peter's section of the route. Additional journeys on the Worcester to Northwick section of the route are provided by new Service 244.
- New Service 32A is introduced as an extension to Service 32, running to Red Hill, County Hall and Royal Hospital during the Monday to Friday peak-time period.
- New Service 32B is introduced as an extension to Service 32, running to Norton Barracks during the Monday to Friday peak-time period.
4th September 2016
Revisions are made to certain services in the Worcester area from Sunday 4th September 2016.
- Additional journeys of Service 32 are introduced between Worcester to St. Peter’s to replace withdrawn Service 382 journeys on this section of the route. The remaining parts of Service 382 route are not replaced.
17th September 2018
- Certain Service 52, Service 53, and Service 54 journeys are withdrawn. The Worcester City Centre to St. Peter’s section of these journeys are replaced by additional Service 32 journeys.
- Certain Service 332 and Service 333 journeys are withdrawn. The Worcester City Centre to St. Peter’s section of these journeys are replaced by additional Service 32 journeys.

To quote the First Worcester website... “The covid pandemic has had a significant impact on bus patronage nationally, our habits and way-of-life have changed immeasurably. We're making changes to our services in accordance with how and when people are travelling across the working week and at weekends.â€
- Service 31, Service 31A, and Service 37 are all withdrawn. Edit... On Thursday 14th April 2022 it was announced that the changes to these and Service 32 will be postponed for 3 months following requests from Worcestershire County Council.
