- Service 153 and Service 154 between Worcester and Droitwich Spa is re-timed with journeys departing Worcester running later, and return journeys running earlier.

On Saturday 31st October 1987, Midland Red West Limited extend their Worcester Citibus network to include Droitwich Spa, and introduce service revisions on most existing Worcester Citibus routes and certain Country and “Midland Express†routes in Worcester, Droitwich Spa, and Malvern areas.
- Most Service 153 and all Service 153 journeys, running between Worcester, Droitwich Spa, and Westlands are withdrawn and replaced by new Service 19 and Service 20.
