Service X31 was a short-lived Limited Stop service operated by First Midland Red Buses Limited between the City Centre and Worcester Royal Hospital. Two Mercedes-Benz O.814 Vario minibuses were fitted with route branding for this service, these being fleet number 525 (registration number S525 RWP) and fleet number 545 (registration number S545 RWP). There were only a few off-peak journeys of Service X31 each day, so these vehicles were more often seen working other routes.
Service X31 was withdrawn on Sunday 28th May 2000, but the route branding remained on the vehicles for quite some time after this date.
