Service 43: Service History

Service 43 (1987–1991)

Operated by Midland Red West Limited

from c. 1987, Worcester Citibus Service 43 operated one return journey on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only, between Bilford Court, Warndon Green and Worcester City Centre. Both Bilford Court and Warndon Green are the home to rest homes, and the service was operated with funding from Worcester City Council to allow residents to visit the City Centre with having to walk to the main roads to catch the regular bus services.

In February 1991, Service 43 was withdrawn. It was replaced by new Service 36B from Monday 11th February 1991, running over the same route as the withdrawn Service 43, but now on Mondays and Wednesdays only, and at different times. Service 36B was operated using funding from Hereford & Worcester County Council.
