Operated by Midland Red (West) Limited

Service 191 was operated by Midland Red (West) Limited in the early 1980s, between Worcester, Evesham, Oxford and London. Initially the service was run as a joint operation with South Midland Motor Services Limited, with five return journeys Monday to Saturday, and three return journeys on Sunday. Two journeys each day also called at Heathrow Airport.

By mid-1984, the service only operated between Worcester and Oxford and Midland Red (West) Limited were the only operator on the route, with two return journeys each day and Sunday journeys withdrawn during the Winter Season. For the Summer Season of 1985, the route had been renumbered to “Midland Express” Service X53.
