Vintage Vehicle

Whilst in sunny Cornwall last week, I spotted 32853 a number of times still going strong, the body looks tatty, but I followed it up a hill and it seemed to fly up. I also saw one of the same batch of presidents which were allocated to Redditch, but most were deemed unsuitable for service. Also seen in Truro were 43872/3, looking rather smart. There is also a large number of very smart Enviro Double Deckers, in various liveries, see attached photos

I had a ride on 32853 last time i was in cornwall, could have had a shower on the top deck with the amount of leaks!

Thanks for the pictures, it is an area that I haven't been to for nearly ten years, so good to see what is going on down in deepest Cornwall. Note the heritage livery Dart SLF 42860 with rivet repaired front corner and repainted front bumper, plus very battered lower nearside panels! It might benefit from a respray with some nice gold lining out to enhance the chocolate and cream.

I was also ignorant (yes I know what you are thinking!) of the batch of Tridents with East Lancs Myllenium bodies like WJ55 CRX which were delivered new to First Devon and Cornwall in 2005/6. These are rather angular but very different to other manufacturers offerings - distinctive and instantly recognisable.
