New MidlandRed.net Forum

Post by AdamH » 14:19 Sunday 3rd July 2016

OK, if you are reading this you will know there is a new forum. This new forum has been rushed through because the old forum has died and there is most likely loads of bugs and errors. I'll do my best to work through these as time goes by, and I also hope to revive the old forum as some sort of archive.

Meanwhile, members will need to register a new account so please do that, and give new new forum a try!

Adam.

Many thanks for getting us "on the road" again. I will have a look while out and about this week to try and find something of interest to report. :geek:

HI All ! Thanks very much Adam, once again, for all your time and efforts - if you are "out of pocket" as a result of setting this up, let me know so I can make a contribution.
I can't wait to add a new emoticon - ...... here I go ..... :D

Very generous of you to offer, but I have chosen phpBB because it is free.
Seems the new emoticons are very popular. I’ve not tried them yet... I will wait for the opportune moment!

Thank you all for the kind comments, it’s always nice to know the headaches and grey hairs are worth it. Now it’s over to you all to populate the forum with lots of new topics.

Chris, added you to the moderators list again. I’m pleased to say all the moderators from the old forum have agreed to continue in their roll for this new one. Thank you.

PS, you need to keep an eye on that WR1st character.

Yes I wholeheartedly agree with that and thanks to Adam for all the hard work getting the new site up and running so quickly. Look forward to interesting exchanges on our local buses and services in the coming weeks and months.
