In early December, I saw this in full Midland Red livery and with the additional decorations for contactless payments --
- and it was "like someone had flicked a switch on in my head" --

- it was the first time that I had felt that Midland Red might have survived and the livery for the whole fleet might have stayed the same as this, and was applied to this modern bus.

So it's very sad to discover that, again, the gold fleet names have been removed from the sides and rear (presumably because of Xmas decorations).
- What a shame - was this really necessary ?

I agree mate, it now looks properly half-arsed. Lets hope they put it back.

Weeks? Try months! The "Midland Red" transfers weren't refitted until late September!!

Tbh it must be costing a fortune every year to keep doing this

Yes, you are correct. I saw it on Saturday and it was indeed saying "Midland Red" in all directions... I just forgot to reply to your post until now!

Great ! - I love that style of fleetname !

Saw it parked up against the depot fence on Sunday. Looked much better than the green one parked in front!

Let's hope 67664 doesn't go to stoke
