The Settle and Carlisle Statesman train worked into Worcester Shrub Hill Platform 2 as empty coach stock from Crewe with Class 47 D1924 (47810) ' Crewe Diesel Depot' leading in 'top and tail' mode with Class 47 D1935 (47805) Roger Hosking MA 1925 - 2013 at the rear, the latter thus becoming the lead locomotive for the charter once the passengers had boarded for their journey along the stunning Settle and Carlisle line.
