According to Bustimes website 44602 was back in service on Wednesday 16 July 2025 repainted in the new First Bus ultraviolet corporate livery. It was last shown in service on Friday 13 June 2025 so repainted in approximately one month; keep that turnaround up and Worcester might just see 12 buses a year in the new livery. However, much will depend on how much time is needed to prepare and replace all the battered, dented skirt and lower front and rear corner panels. It also makes me wonder if the seats have been refurbished and if so, has a complete additional set been sourced to enable unbolting old and fitting new, then re-covering the old set in time for the next repaint?

They might get a couple more done now it’s school holidays given that the vehicle requirement will be lower

The only problem is that it is the same for all other group companies using the same paint shop - If there is an opportunity to paint more vehicles over the summer then Worcester could start on the deckers - A number of sister vehicles from the same two batches of vehicles have already been painted
