Well, most of the 8 remaining Volvos are now parked by the fence adj. to Pheasant Street, with "stickers" in their windscreens, so their departure must be imminent !

I was expecting some of them to stay a while longer to cover for any of the E400s that are not yet ready for service (33737,831,63,64,66 have not seen service since a range of dates from July 4th to August 13th -- IF bustimes.org can be relied on / based on ticket machines).

The WR total shown on bustimes is 66 - minus 2 trainers, so if we lose 8 volvos without replacement that would leave us with only 56 buses, which looks too low to me --
so I'm expecting a few more to come here in exchange (?)

:)

With the extra services starting, and quite a lot of deckers not yet ready for service, Monday will be quite interesting!!!

What about drivers? I hear Worcester are using agency drivers again.

We’ve got around 10 at the moment.

I start at 6.30 in the morning, so I should be lucky and get a bus, don’t think the 7.30 starters will be as lucky!

I get the feeling from previous posts that the drivers will be in favour of the changes at Worcester to primarily ADL buses?
How about the feeling from the engineering side regards serviceability and reliability?

Firstly, can anyone tell me if all timetabled journeys ran this morning, or were some "dropped" ?

- It might not be possible for us enthusiasts to work it out if say - a bus on a service with a 10 minute frequency / interval is running 10 minutes late ( - I have logic problems !).

Why I ask is 5 single-deckers were not used this morning that WERE used yesterday according to bustimes.org - BUT some of these 5 may have run, but failed to TRACK !

On Wednesday I noted that only 2 DDs and 3 single-deckers were not used OR failed to track -
and on Thursday it was only 1 DD and 3 single-deckers !

I think the engineering staff at Padmore Street deserve hearty CONGRATULATIONS Iin achieving such a high percentage turnout in service, with virtually the whole fleet changed with "second-hand" vehicles, in a very short time !!
:)

Please note that in the above I have ignored the Volvos which are still listed as WR on bustimes, but that are no longer in use at WR !!
