To continue with the vehicle livery theme. On the eastnorfolkbus.blogspot.com site , there is a photo of a recently transferred from Leeds to Norwich Streetdeck in a livery very much like our Saltroad Volvo single decker's.

With the influx of "new" vehicles to Worcester depot it would make the fleet look more presentable if the company now embark on a repainting programme Other than the 3 streetlites that came from Manchester in yellow that were repainted and will shortly all be in South Wales the last bus to be repainted at Worcester was 69643 in January 2023

Of the latest double deck arrivals 33673 and 33737 have had quiet are varied life to date . Both were new in June 2012 and were initially used for games transport for the London Olympics before entering normal service with First Manchester at their Bolton depot. When this depot was sold to Rotala they were part of the 100 or so vehicles leased to Diamond Bus before their new Street Deck vehicles arrived. When the vehicles returned to First bus they went to the Somerset operation before ending up in Worcester.. 14 plate vehicles also started life in Games Transport this time for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games

Similar to Lichfield > Bromsgrove trains turning at Longbridge.

Back to buses, I have a week away and the fleet has altered some what.
