I hope the seats are retrimmed and any Welsh language removed from inside !

Also I hope the suspension will give the maximum ground clearance !!

... I hope.

Dropped lucky this morning, Monday 19 May 2025, at Crowngate Bus Station, 44607 arrived within minutes of me sitting on the seat in Angel Place so managed a few shots of it waiting to commence the early morning 363 service. In answer to DD12's question about the seat refurbishment, it would appear that these have been recovered in a hard-wearing blue moquette which is just visible in the close-up offside picture taken from the walkway above bus station.

I will admit to being somewhat unimpressed with pictures of the new livery, but it looks a lot better in the metal and there is some nice detailing at the rear with give way to buses sign on the offside corner and a warning to cyclists about the nearside blindspot on the opposite corner. New position for the nearside fleet number just behind the entrance door too, but why is it white on light grey?.

Thanks Tim -- Glad to see that the livery is complete, whereas many photos on the internet show vehicles around the country entering service in unfinished blue and grey.

Also, this is the first time I have seen that the whole length of the roof is light grey.

And, the front wheel-nut devices are yellow on the nearside but red on the offside (see the photo further up this thread).

The roof colour looking light is a trick of the early morning sunlight; I reckon it is the same dark blue as the flanks but with a layer of the dust which has been covering vehicles in the spell of drought!

I'm indifferent about the new livery. It's OK, I guess. However, it looks like it has been done to a high standard and I think we should all thank what or whoever we think is holy that it's been done at all. Let's hope First can do the rest of the fleet and Worcester can get a professional looking fleet again.

Thanks for posting, Tim.

It will be interesting how much budget has been allocated to repaints and how many are done. It did take about 6 weeks in Stoke plus the time at Worcester to do the preparation. I suspect the retrimming took the time

I quite like the colour scheme but the First logo is pretty forgettable. Looks like a child drew it - a child charging high consultancy fees, no doubt!

It looks like Grandpa Pigs hand, and in one episode of Peppa Pig, his pink hand is shown against a purple background - many have said that the new logo looks like it was designed by a 4 year old, we now have the proof

In that case I hope it is good enough to 'bring home the bacon'!
