On the First Worcestershire website, in the news section, is a summary of the arrangement for the forthcoming Park+Ride 910, which also says it replaces the 44/44C along this section on Saturday 26th November -
People might be a bit confused by this as, - my understanding (!) is that the current Saturday service along the London Road is only the X50/551 - which will continue to run.

You are right, none of the 44 group of services run between City Centre and County Hall on a Saturday.
