Not exactly an express service, it takes 1 hour and 3 minutes for the journey, which goes via Five Ways, Edgbaston, Selly Oak, Weoley Castle, Bournville, Northfield, Rubery, Catshill and Bromsgrove. In the good old days, we did Brum to Bromsgrove in 43 minutes - such is progress!

The 44 service has a similar problem - we used to get 19 minutes to get to Malvern Link Co-Op from Newport Street, but now this has been increased to between 23 and 24 minutes, however this includes going into Malvern Link retail park (Safeways, now Morrisons) extra sets of lights or crossings ...

According to the BaMMoT newsletter, 3750 is in the paintshop.

I,ve found out that the vehicles from Stoke are 4 E400s from Rochdale. We have already received 2 E400s from Bristol. That will bring the total number of deckers to 19, which could be a record for Worcester, and will make DD12 very happy.

We are also expecting 3 short E200s, from I believe South ...

An appeal went out today on the Ticketer machines for 4 or 5 drivers to go to Stoke on Sunday, to bring some vehicles back. Don’t know what will be arriving, but my guess is some E200s, I think they have some newer examples than our current batch.

It was my hope to be able to drive a new liveried vehicle before I retire, but unless there is a miracle, this will not happen. Only two days left now, my last service will be the 19.10 34 to Sixways on Friday.

Just posted on Facebook are these pics of 3750 arriving at Wythall today , looks to be in reasonable condition.

According to a message on the company website, Worcester is to receive a new livery, is a similar fashion to the Green livery for West of England services. However what it will be was not announced, it depends of consultations with the local authority.
