New as C48F to the Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company Limited (BMMO - Midland Red) as type S21A in 1966.  Bodywork finished by Plaxton to BMMO design.  New in red and black BMMO coach livery.  Reclassified to type S22 in December 1967.  Fitted for one-man operation and reclassified to type S17 in June 1970.  Re-seated to B52F in 1973 or 1975.
