5545 was the last BMMO S16 built, and thus the last vehicle built by BMMO with a manual gearbox.  She was acquired by the BaMMOT in January 1977, shortly after it was withdrawn from service by Midland Red.  The vehicle has now been fully restored, and has a full Class VI MOT certificate, and is used on services and open days.
