Built as H43/35F by the Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company Limited (BMMO — Midland “Red”) as the prototype BMMO type D10 in 1960.

Built as H37/28D with twin staircases and twin doors by the Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company Limited (BMMO — Midland “Red”) as the 2nd prototype BMMO type D10 in 1961.  Rebuilt as H43/34F in November 1962.
4944 1944 HA 5/1961 1/1973 SH Scrapped HL (5/61). Rebuilt (11/62) as H43/34F with rear door & rear staircase removed. SS (1/64). HL (4/64). SD (4/64). Withdrawn (1/73). Passed to Hudley (9/73) for scrap.
